What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a holistic healthcare approach that focuses on assessing, treating, and preventing health issues by emphasizing the body's musculoskeletal system. It uses gentle hands on techniques to improve mobility, relieve pain, and support the body's natural healing process.
Osteopathy is both an art and science. It is a whole body approach to treatment that is gentle and non-invasive. It helps improve health and balance within the body. It restores structural function by releasing restrictions allowing nerves and blood vessels to flow freely. This facilitates the body's natural ability to self heal and self regulate.
Osteopathic Principles:
1. The body is a unit - mind, body, spirit
2. The body is capable of self regulation and self healing
3. Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated
